Dr. Schmidt specializes in international economic analysis and trade litigation support. He supervises
                                a staff of economists, trade analysts, statisticians and other professionals that provide economic analysis 
                                and litigation support for Maalouf Law Firm's international trade clients.

                                From January 1998 until May 2006, he was an international economist with Switzerland's International
                                Economic Research Group.  Dr. Schmidt was responsible for economic analysis and policy formation with
                                respect to international investment and multinational enterprises (MNE) including matters
                                involving Overseas Private Investment Corporations.
